About
I'm a Cuban-born visual communication designer currently living in Florida, United States.
As an independent designer, I have collaborated with publishers, arts institutions, and design and architecture studios. My work has included art direction for publications, as well as environmental graphics and information-design projects for museums.
Experience
I worked as Art Director at Bisiesto, the daily journal of the ICAIC Young Filmmakers Festival, from 2015 to 2018. From 2017 to 2021, I was also Art Director at Cine Cubano Magazine, published by the Cuban Institute of Cinematographic Art and Industry (ICAIC).
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication Design from the Higher Institute of Design of Havana, Cuba (2009–2014), followed by a Postgraduate Diploma in Color Management in Design from the same institution (2014).
